Apple’s MacBook Pro has received its latest periodic makeover, making the machines faster, leaner and greener, the company announced Tuesday. Apple’s high-end line of notebook computers now sports Intel’s latest Centrino Santa Rosa processors as well as 4 GB of memory, a high-speed graphics chip from Nvidia and a new mercury-free, LED-backlit display on the 15-inch model. “With Intel Core 2 Duo performance, more memory and state-of-the-art graphics, this MacBook Pro is a portable powerhouse for creative and professional users,” said Apple’s Phillip Schiller.
