checksysreport performs some automatic tests against a directory containing an untarred Red Hat Enterprise Linux sysreport. You will need a valid Red Hat Network login in order to use it, as it fetches information from RHN using the RHN API (see https://rhn.redhat.com/rpc/api/). A graphical tool, yadarh, is also included: it uses the cache generated by checksysreport to display RPMs in a given channel and lets you browse them to have a list of errata and new entries in changelogs that come with other versions of the same package.

Changes:
This version 1.0 comes with a server and a client
side, so several clients can share a common cache
repository. There is a checksysreport-server
package that shares its cache to checksysreport
clients using postgresql. The server also accepts
sysreports to analyze from a Web page. A cosmetic
bug when copying changelog diffs in yadarh has
been fixed. Fetching data from RHN is threaded. A
client can be configured to use a satellite
instead of rhn.redhat.com. The makefile works for
108.redhat.com's svn. The packaging was made
cleaner.

Reft stands for "Ridiculously Easy File Transfer",
and is a file transfer program without hassles.
All that's required is for two parties to load
Reft. One person sends a file, the other person
accepts the file, and that's it.

Color was added to the reft tabs that notify the
user about the status of a download or upload. The
"ok to download" dialogue box was cleaned up. A
long-standing bug with the file-selection
mechanism for reft files in Windows was fixed so
that other drives (d:, e:) are shown. A bug with
the FTP server was fixed so that it remembers the
current working directory.

librfc822 provides application developers with a complete parser for RFC822 addresses. Not only can you use the library to verify that RFC822 addresses are syntactically correct, you can also have an address split up into its semantic parts, what is needed when deciding where to route an address to, etc. What is quite unique is that librfc822 does indeed parse all address types allowed by the standard. That includes such weird things as "address groups" or addresses with whitespace and comments throw in.
