webcheck is a Web site checking tool for Web
masters. It crawls a given Web site and generates
a number of reports. The whole system is
pluggable, allowing extra reports and checks to be
added easily. It supports retrieving Web sites
over HTTP, file, and FTP protocols and produces
reports on site structure, broken links, old Web
pages, overviews of external links, and more. The
links that webcheck considers external are
configurable through regular expressions, and
webcheck honors robots.txt.

Changes:
This release changes the HTML parser to
BeautifulSoup (when available). This parser is
much more error-tolerant than the old HTMLParser
based solution but is also slightly slower. Some
small output improvements were made as well as
some internal improvements to better support
Unicode content. Parsing of robots.txt files was
re-enabled and an –ignore-robots option was
added.

XLSperl lets you process and create Microsoft
Excel (.xls) files from
the commandline using the standard Perl
“one-liner” command format. This
makes it easy to grep data from Excel documents
without needing to use a
GUI application.

MyProfi is a commandline tool that parses MySQL
query logs and outputs
statistics for the queries found. The statistics
shows the most popular,
the slowest, and the most time-locked queries, as
well as other valuable
information, so the developer may easily see the
problematic queries and
start optimizing them right away. Queries are
grouped together by their
normalized view, so all variable parts of queries
are stripped, which
makes the statistics clearer and more useful.

Seismic Toolkit is a tool for processing and displaying seismic signal data in a graphical interface. It reads seismic signals in SAC format, and provides a variety of signal processing, such as filtering, spectral analysis, polarisation analysis, time-frequency representation, Hilbert transform, and singular value decomposition. Some utilities are included for useful seismological applications, like computation of Seismic Moment Mo, Mantle magnitude Mm and Moment magnitude Mw, MTPA spectral analysis, plotting focal mechanisms, computation (and plotting) of instrumental response from poles and zeros, and some usefull GMT (Generic Mapping Tool) scripts for plotting signals, responses, and time-frequency in Postscript files for high quality prints.

Changes:
PPOL_MTPA is a new utility program that was added
to the project for computing polarization of P
wave in the frequency domain. The spectral
analysis tool is based on the MTPA method (Multi
Proplate Taper Analysis). With this method, set
polarization parameters are computed at each given
frequency.

Partition Logic is a partitioning and disk
management tool for PC-compatible computers. It
includes its own standalone operating system and
GUI, and can fit on a single bootable floppy (or
CD). It creates, modifies, resizes, deletes,
formats, and moves partitions, and copies hard
disks. It is based on the Visopsys operating
system.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Changes:
This is an important maintenance release, with a
focus on disk I/O performance, secure deletion
(shredding) of files/partitions/disks, and bug
fixes, including a data corruption problem, and
changes to the OS loader, resulting in more
reliable booting on more systems.

irrKlang is a free high level 2D and 3D cross
platform sound engine and audio library tht plays
WAV, MP3, OGG, MOD, XM, IT, S3M, and other file
formats. It can be used by C++ and all .NET
languages (C#, Visual Basic.NET, etc.). It has all
of the features common to low-level audio
libraries as well as lots of useful features like
a sophisticated streaming engine, extendable audio
reading, single and multi-threading modes, 3D
audio emulation for low-end hardware, a plugin
system, multiple rolloff models, and more. All of
these can be accessed via an extremely simple API
using an object oriented design.

Changes:
Linux support was improved by supporting slow
hardware (thus eliminating stuttering). The
“click” sounds occurring at the end when playing 8
bit sound files or huge wave files were removed.

Desdemona is a Reversi (a.k.a. Othello) game.
Its AI player has a range of difficulty levels, and you can play on non-standard board sizes (from 4-by-4 to 14-by-14) in addition to the regular 8-by-8 board.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Changes:
A bug that caused the default values for the
preferences not to be registered was fixed. This
could cause the AI level and board size to be used
uninitialised, and could lead to crashes.

Ampache is a Web-based MP3/Ogg/RM/Flac/WMA/M4A manager. It allows you to view, edit, and play your audio files via HTTP/IceCast/Mpd or Moosic. It has support for downsampling, playlists, artist, and album views, album art, random play, song play tracking, user themes, and remote catalogs using XML-RPC.
License: GNU General Public License (GPL)
Changes:
This release fixes a minor issue wherein the MPD
preferences did not get properly populated to each
user when enabling the module. The Dump Album art
script has been fixed. Remote downsampling when
using XML-RPC now correctly uses the system wide
sample rate. Albums of the moment will no longer
show duplicate albums. A minor issue with “now
playing” if you seek beyond 50% of the file has
been fixed.
