It was only about time before the big M would make its move. After the latest online ad acquisitions by Google, Yahoo, and yesterday’s buyout of 24/7 Real Media Inc, by WPP Group, Microsoft came out swinging this morning with the largest ever acquisition in the company’s history. Microsoft pays $6 billion for aQuantive, Inc, one of the last major players in the online ad sector.
